Shri Radhakrishna Temple

Shree Radha Krishna Temple is one of the magnificent and unique temple of Kanpur. This temple was built by J.K. Trust, thus locally known as J.K. Temple. This Hindu temple has five shrines dedicated each to Lord Radha-Krishna, Lord Ardhanareeswara, Lord Lakshminarayana, Lord Narmadeshwar and Lord Hanuman. Any visit to Kanpur is incomplete without visiting this temple as this temple has very rich architecture in the marble construction, which reflects styles from both northern and southern temple of India. This temple is the ideal place for devotees seeking peace and holy environment.

Allen Forest Zoo

Kanpur Zoological Park situated on the fringes of industrial city of Kanpur. The park is spread in an area of 76.65 hectare. It opened for public on 4th February 1974.Allen forest was developed during the British rule between the years 1913-1918 by Mr. George Burney Allen, a famous British industrialist of Kanpur on the banks of the river Ganga.The construction of the zoo was carried between 1971 to 1973.The 1st animal that came to the zoo was an Otter, which was caught by fisherman from the river Chambal.

The enclosures for animals and birds were designed on the latest trends in the field of zoo building technology, well spread along the lake on either side of a semicircular arterial road of about 9 km. length.Many endangered and exotic species successfully bred here.To name a few One Horned Rhinoceros, Thamin, Swamp deer, Chimpanzee, Orangutan, Zebra etc.

Harcourt Butler Technical Institute(HBTI), Kanpur

Bithoor

Bithoor is situated on the left bank of the Ganges, and is the centre of Hindu pilgrimage. According to Hindu mythology, Bithoor is the birthplace of Ram's sons Luv and Kush. Bithoor holds a special place in the Indian mythological texts as the place where Brahma created the nature. According to the Purana, the child sage Dhruva had conducted his tapasya here.
